REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving
Summary: This position is responsible for a wide variety of activities to engage and involve alumni and parents in significant ways. The position will work with the Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving in the development of the Alumni and Parent Associations as well as other Giving Societies in all areas including engagement, events, programming, fundraising, communication, everyday tasks and on-going customer service
Essential tasks & Job responsibilities:
Coordinates the planning, administration, implementation of all alumni and parent services and events both on and off campus
Coordinates the planning, administration, implementation of all fundraising events both on and off campus
Develops and facilitate alumni, parent and giving society publications and communications, including print and web including writing and editing material
Assists in strategic development plan to grow the UArts Fund through alumni and parent cultivation resulting in donor retention and acquisition utilizing bench-marking data; routinely identifies and qualifies alumni prospects for gifts; prepares and recommends strategic approaches for major individual gift solicitations; manages giving campaigns as assigned
Works collaboratively with the director and advancement team to set engagement strategy for each constituent group, and to assess results using both qualitative and quantitative metrics
supervises and manages confidential alumni/parent files and database

suitable education
Bachelor's degree required.
practice:
Minimum of 1-2 years of practice with non-profit fundraising functions, preferably in higher education, with particular focus on the management of special events and programs.
practice in engaging constituencies and working with volunteers.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal expertise.
Competencies, expertise, expertise & Abilities:
capability to work nights and weekends as needed
Proven capability to manage multiple unique projects at once
May be trained to use space reservation software, Adobe programs, and other Data Management tools
expertise of Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications required.
Competent at organizing several different project schedules
capability to write clear instructional memorandums
Demonstrated capability to take primary responsibility for a diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
CRM or other Database management: preferred
Must be able to travel and work evenings and weekends as warranted.
