Description: Reporting to the Director of Admission the Senior Associate Dean of Admission - Regional Recruiter will be responsible for all aspects of admissions/recruiting; interviewing, high school visitations, college day/night programs, application review, travel domestically and special projects. Evening and weekend hours may be required in support of special projects, travel and events. Travel required. Valid driver's license required. Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCCA.
Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. One year admissions practice preferred. Candidate should possess strong communication expertise both oral and written as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative expertise. Familiarity with computerized admissions and financial aid systems, such as Ellucian Banner and Technolutions Slate, as well as a working expertise of PC-located word processing and spreadsheet programs will be advantageous.
