Abilene Christian Athletics is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Athletics Media Relations adjunct. The university is a member of NCAA Division I Southland Conference, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
The individual chosen will serve as the media contact for sports as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics for Media Relations and be responsible for generating feature content for ACUSports.com and its social media sites. This individual additionally will produce record books, game notes and news releases; staff home and selected away events, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
   » Must be a professing Christian and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose while employed by the university
   » An undergraduate degree in a related field (journalism, communications, etc.)
   » Previous practice working in a collegiate sports information office as a student adjunct, graduate adjunct or intern
   » Strong verbal and written communication expertise
   » Working expertise of NCAA DI Athletics and rules specific to each intercollegiate sport
   » practice and/or a availability to lgain desktop publishing (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Spark), StatCrew (Football, Baseball, Softball, Tennis) and Genius Sports (Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball)
   » Comfort in handling play-by-play for live broadcasts, appearing on-and-behind video/digital camera
   » Proficiency with Mac and PC computers
   » practice with video recording and editing (Premiere Pro) is a plus
