Randstad is seeking an HR Manager for an international automotive company located in Newark, CA. The position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will supervise the full spectrum of HR operations. The main function in this function is to provide strategic skills in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management, and ad hoc projects as necessary.

Job responsibilities:
-Be fully accountable and responsible for coordinating all HR-related topics and act as a guiding partner.
-Process Payroll ADP Workforce
-Develop recruiting channels and conduct interviews with qualified candidates.
-Contribute to and promote a comfortable and motivating organizational culture in order to attract potential candidates, motivate current employees and retain top talents.
-Responsible for reporting personnel data and actively managing personnel costs
-Act as the strategic partner and in-house consultant to upper management and department managers.
-Guarantee working environment that is in compliance with California labor law and the "Group Health, Safety & Environment" policies

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Special Skills:
- Good analytical, problem solving, time management, conflict management, and negotiation skills are required
- Bilingual fluent in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; must be a clear, concise and persuasive communicator

Appropriate qualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in business administration, psychology, or human resources and at least 5+ years of professional HR practice in the automotive industry
- Must have California employment law practice.
- Applied knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employment.
- Thorough knowledge and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Demonstrated capability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams.
- practice objectively coaching employees and management through complex issues.
- availability to travel internationally and domestically to the different plants is required (up to 10%)
- SHRM
- Manufacturing practice is required.
- Must have advanced knowledge of ADP (process payroll every other week), Workforce, Excel (Formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivotable)
