We are seeking for individuals with management practice to join a team in driving a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to help meet and exceed business objectives.

The Individual will be responsible for leading a team of Production Associates in processing/packaging departments to meet company's objectives as well as meeting standards for safety, quality, yield, efficiency and cost. The Individual will assist in the development and training of all associates in conjunction with the company policies, procedures and culture while maintaining high level of employee morale and dedication to serving customers.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have a previously demonstrated and verifiable work history of managing a team of associates, and food manufacturing practice is a plus. The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently make decisions with minimum direct supervision, act accountcapability and exhibit strong leadership abilities expertise while maintaining our company's culture which puts employee welfare and consumer safety above all other priorities.

Job responsibilities:
-Manages subordinate staff in the day to day performance of their jobs.
-Ensure accurate and timely completion of all everyday manufacturing and sanitation reporting requirements.
-expertise and capability to implement and ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures and department processes.
-Participate in routine Food Safety / QA document reviews to ensure audit readiness.
-capability to develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain consistent everyday plant operations
-Prepare operations schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality are met.
-Coordinate and supervise facility maintenance needs / projects. Ensures that jobs adhere to approved budgets and timelines.
-Coordinates maintenance of vehicles and plant equipment.
-Assist in purchasing supplies, materials and ingredients.
-Participate in shipping and receiving tasks as needed to ensure timely and accurate handling of orders.
-Conduct regular department / group meetings to validate / reinforce techniques and processes in the areas of safety (OSHA), manufacturing, quality and food safety
-Ensure that our Production Associates are processing our product lines in full conformity with HACCP, GMP, FDA, & Acme's requirements
-capability to prioritize / adjust quickly to a rapidly changing work environment with minimal supervision to meet internal and external customer needs
-capability to assist with special or continuing projects

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM

expertise:
-At least five (5) years of practice in a management position, preferably in the food processing industry
-Take responsibility with a "Can do spirit and attitude"
-Previous practice working within an FDA regulated facility. Must have an audit ready mindset.
-Past practice within an SQF or BRC certified manufacturing environment is preferred
-Previous practice with employee performance review programs and employee assessments
-Must be able to work in temperatures in upper 30's range when necessary
-capability and availability to work unusual/flexible schedule, including some weekends and an early morning schedule
